A1 Academy

At A1 Academy our mission is to make students achieve their academic goals by making learning fun! When children find themselves struggling with school subjects, it lowers their self-esteem and confidence. We aim to attend to each child’s individual needs and instill in them the desire to achieve and motivate them to learn on their own. Our individualized learning program helps your child become focused and succeed on their own.

After the initial assessment test, we sit down with each student and their parents to understand what they are looking to achieve from these sessions. Each student’s progress is then tracked weekly and will be communicated to parents monthly

Qualifications for Tutors

We’re looking for dedicated educators with a passion for helping elementary students excel.

High School Senior, College Student with at least 2-3 years of college preferred
Must be organized, detail oriented, punctual, and dependable
Must be Available to work evenings and/or weekends and perform various tasks within the Center as assigned
Collaborate with groups of 3-4 children providing individualized attention
Fluent in both, English and Spanish
Caring, kind and professional individual who has a positive impact on children
Skilled in working with MS Office applications
Background check required
A proven knowledge of the subject being taught is essential. After the interview, successful candidates will be asked to teach a mock class to showcase their teaching skills and interaction with the student.
