All teachers are independent contractors, working part time. Competence is important, but so is joy and attitude. We strongly believe that our teachers are our best assets.

Qualifications for Tutors

High School Senior, College Student with at least 2-3 years of college preferred
Must be organized, detail oriented, punctual, and dependable
Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends and perform various tasks within the Center as assigned
Collaborate with groups of 4-5 students providing individualized attention
Fluent in both, English and Spanish
Caring, kind and professional individual who has a positive impact on students
Skilled in working with MS Office applications
Background check required
A proven knowledge of the subject being taught is essential. After the interview, successful candidates will be asked to take a 30 minutes assessment test and will be asked to teach a mock class to showcase their teaching skills and interaction with the student
